I don’t think that the dollar is going to lose all its value, but I certainly thing it will lose quite a bit and possibly even its reserve currency status in the near future. About the only thing that the dollar has going for it is the fact that oil is traded using it. If it wasn’t for that fact, we would have been dead quite a long time ago. To preserve the value of your dollar, gold or silver are certainly a worthwhile investment.
Well, this is shocking, but old news. Ted Gunderson died November last year 2011. Barbara Hartwell turned his enemy and backslid. Chip Tatum was found off the coast of Panama tortured and murdered. For more news on this thing go to: http://educate-yourself.org/tg/ Thanks for posting this.
I happened upon your John Todd material & I praise the Lord for it…You may already be aware that atlas shrugged the movie part 1 was released in 2010 or 2011 & part 2 is due in October 2012…
Hi. I just moved to Japan, living with the in-laws and we have that exact same router. Where did you find the info to get onto it? If I go to the routers IP I’m asked for admin username and logon but not clear where to find this info.
You gather verifiable facts that expose the evildoers and present them to the person you are trying to enlighten. And you encourage the person to do their own research. Anybody who sincerely researches the subject is bound to find the truth.
It’s not trying to act like it came from God, or anything. Just in case the unthinkable happens, people in the future can learn from our mistakes. That’s the idea anyway.
We know that the resources we use are limited but we don’t care. So eventually things we take for granted will run out. That’s all the harmony with nature and carrying capacity thing is about. I hope people will be more responsible in the future and not look for the easy way out by saying “God will save us anyway, so we can do whatever we want.”
I hope you at least reported the bug because the devs need to know what they need to fix. Also Chris Mason is still working on btrfsck and it’ll be wise to report corruptions to him so he can add code to fix those corruptions.
It might not be immediately useful for you if you report the corruption, but it’d be nice if btrfs users in the future have a working btrfsck
I didn’t consider it a bug and unfortunately I don’t have the error code anymore.
All file systems get corrupted from time to time, but the file checker program usually fixes it without data loss. In this case btrfsck was not yet able to fix it. It was totally my fault for using it in the first place for my /home partition. I was burning a DVD with K3b and it hung and the system became unresponsive. I hit the restart button. That in itself could have caused the partition to become corruption.
“Believe it or not, I do better in Japanese.”
Actually, no I don’t believe that at all.
“The difference between a wrong character and the right one is usually pretty clear.”
Oh really? Which are the correct characters for the red spider lily (Lycoris radiata), one of Japan’s favorite flowers:
曼珠沙華
or
饅頭釈迦?
or
曼珠釈迦
or
饅頭沙華
Just asking, you know, Japan James.
Reply from James Japan,
Give me a break! I’m not a botanist! I’m talking about the difference between words like this:
進行
振興
信仰
侵攻
進攻
進講
The romaji for each of those words is shinkou, and only one of them means “faith” a word I use frequently. Of course i know the difference. And I know the meanings of the others as well.
My wife didn’t even know and she’s Japanese! But looking at the characters I knew it had to be either the first choice or the last because of the 草冠 at the top of each. We looked it up on the Internet and saw it was the first. From your website I see you ARE a botanist! That’s not playing fair, don’t you think?
Thank you, my friend! As you know, English spelling is not my forte. Believe it or not, I do better in Japanese. The difference between a wrong character and the right one is usually pretty clear.
The other day I met a chose friend from Arkansas, one of the States that found against the Union in the American Civil war, and asked him what he was taught about Lincoln and the Civil war when a child in elementary school. He replied he was taught to respect Lincoln and that the South was mistaken! I didn’t find this same attitude from the locals in Biloxi Mississippi when I was there in 1970! Apparently not every southern state or everybody in the deep south was taught negatively about about Abraham Lincoln.
Hello Sir, I’ve found the picture of this post linked on a sub on reddit and I liked it very much so I’ve searched through the web to find the author and eventually I’ve ended up here to your site. You name a Dr. Nakasato of Nagoya. Thing is I’d like to give the right credit of the image and I was wondering if you’d have a contact or a webpage or a twitter/facebook account of Dr. Nakasato to ask permissions to use his work. Hope it’s not unconvenient for you, if you can help I’d be very grateful. Thanks in advance.
You know how much I love and respect DBB and how much I value his opinion on issues, but I’m sorry to say I think he was wrong on this one. It’s perfectly understandable why. DBB was raised in the deep South and therefore predudiced against Lincoln. DBB apparently didn’t know about Jesuit influence. He apparently never read Samuel Morse’s book, “Foreign Conspiracy Against the Liberties of the United States” http://jamesjpn.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/Samuel_Morse_A_FOREIGN_CONSPIRACY.pdf For if he did, he would know that it was the Jesuit’s who caused the American Civil War. Morse was a friend of Lincoln. Even if one ignores all the above, the fact is the civil war started when the South attacked the North! It was the South who first resorted to violence.
