The 50 Most Dangerous Cities in the World: Mainly Roman Catholic — 4 Comments

  1. I am a Catholic priest. I have given my life to our Lord Jesus Christ. The trouble spots you indicate are anything but Catholic – just as the United States of America is anything but Christian. Your comments are false, uncharitable – and are not, in any way, in the Spirit or Word of Christ and His Gospel. I will pray for your conversion to Christ.

    • Sir, thank you for sharing your opinion. Now please give us some facts to prove this article “false” as you call it. From the statistics I read in the news, I can say with certainty that entire nations like Italy, Spain, France where the Roman Catholic Church is strong have much higher rates of crime than Protestant nations such as Norway, Sweden, Finland. And even nations where the Roman Catholic Church has always been weak though not predominantly Protestant Christian such as Japan where I live is much lower in crime than American cities where the local governments are under Catholic control. Now why is that? The Catholic Church is linked to the Mafia and corruption in all nations where it rules. I wonder how much money the mafia pays your church for indulgences to commit murder? Please read what former Roman Catholic priest Jeremiah Crowley has to say.https://jamesjpn.net/conspiracy/religion/roman-catholicism/romanism-a-menace-to-the-nation-by-jeremiah-j-crowley
I was raised a Roman Catholic in Chicago the first 20 years of my life. I didn’t know anything other than the Roman Catholic faith until I left that wicked city high in crime and murder and RUN BY IRISH ROMAN CATHOLICS FOR A century. These are facts, sir, not just my opinion.

  2. I’ve always thought there is so much corruption in the Mexican culture. They take advantage and always want something free. I’m Mexican American myself but very American in my thinking. I never made the connection to the religion of Catholicism being the cause. I read that Thomas Acquinas said it’s ok to steal if you’re hungry. Where is that in the Bible? You make good points that the Catholic countries are poor while the Protestant ones are not.

    • Thank you, Terri, for your comments. It’s just my observation. The Philippines where I am living now is the poorest country I’ve ever lived in. When America took it away from Spain many Protestant missionaries came, and they were welcomed by many Filipinos, but it’s still a predominately Catholic nation. One article says 80% of the Filipinos are Catholic. In Japan there are high speed expressways that cross the country and go to all the major cites but the Philippines has only one expressway that goes through Manila and not very far away from it. My wife and I went overland by car from Manila to the southern tip of Luzon and it was mostly all regular road, and sometimes very bumpy road at that. Former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte once said that the Catholic Church has destroyed his country. Nevertheless there’s no starvation that I know of. People get by with what little they can do to earn a living and always have something to eat.
