If you are a frequent visitor of this website and wonder what happened to the layout, it’s because I moved my domain jamesjpn.net to a different hosting service called Ipage.com

I was previously using Bluehost for the past 3 years, but they jacked the price on me and I couldn’t afford it. It would have expired at the beginning of June. Plus I didn’t think their service was so good. This website performed poorly on the Bluehost server. Now it’s speedy Gonzales!

The reason the format changed is because I had trouble importing the database. Instead of that, I used a tool to import the individual posts and pages which I valued the most. But it didn’t bring the old layout with it.

There are somewhat fewer features on this site than before due to the absence of plugins that added those features. Some of them were no longer maintained by the developer which means the website was vulnerable to hackers. And if the same plugins slowed down the loading of the site, I’m better off without them and the features they added. Google will rank me better if the pages and posts load faster.
